After going into hiding for the last few weeks, Commissioner Roger Goodell took the podium to address the current state of the NFL. As your all aware, it's been a rather rough few weeks for the image of the NFL as domestic violence issues, drug policies, and concussion awareness from the league have all been under heavy scrutiny, with nobody catching more heat then Goodell, and rightfully so.

In his press conference, Goodell announced the NFL would implement new personal policy when it came to drug use, domestic violence, or any other crime, and is implementing a conduct committee to oversee and review all the new rules. Goodell went on to say he hopes to have all this done "By the Super Bowl", which seems like an awfully long time if you ask us, but better to get things right, because that's what landed the NFL in this situation to begin with. For those of you calling for Goodell to resign, think again as he made it rather clear that he had no thoughts of giving up his cushy $40 million a year salary, and went on to say "I'm focused on doing my job."

Of course Twitter had their own thoughts on the Goodell speech, and sounded off on the commissioner in a rather harsh way. But then again, what else would you expect.

Then this happened...

Very weird to say the least. Hopefully the NFL can "get their house in order" sooner then later, because things are spirling out of control really quick.
