Foot Locker celebrates 40 years in the game this year, cementing itself as one of the O.G. companies in sneaker culture. Before House of Hoops, Launch Locators, and in-store raffles, Foot Locker saw its humble beginnings as a division of the Kinney Shoe Corporation, which was a subsidiary of the larger F. W. Woolworth Company.

The footwear and athletic apparel retailer has come a long way since opening its first doors in 1974 in Southern California. Today, there are nearly 2,000 Foot Locker shops in 21 countries and the company just continues to crush it in the market.

Considering all the different sneakers that have graced the shelves of Foot Locker stores in the last four decades, Footwear News breaks it all down and shares the 15 best selling sneakers from Foot Locker's 40-year history. The list includes O.G. gems, as well as some "newer" styles that today's sneakerheads will definitely recognize. Peep the list here.
