One of the most coveted elements of Kanye West's Nike Air Yeezy II is its glow-in-the-dark tooling. For all the O.G. 'heads, you might recognize the midsole design from Andre Agassi's Nike Air Tech Challenge II from the late '80s/early '90s. For all the thirsty sneakerheads who are just seeing the ATCII for the first time through the abundance of 2014 retros: The tennis sneaker didn't bite the Yeezys, so just stop.
With all the Yeezy-inspired colorways we've seen on other silhouettes, it's only right to imagine what the Air Tech Challenge II would look like with Yeezy color schemes. Sole Collector did just that and went H.A.M. 'shopping the concept. Peep the "Red October" and "Solar Red" versions, and head over to Sole Collector to see what "Pure Platinum" would look like.
