This season could be the most important of RGIII's short career so far, as he's looking to bounce back from an injury riddled 2013 that left him almost a shell of what we saw in his rookie year. Under new head coach Jay Gruden, Griffin and the Redskins have a good a chance as anyone in the NFC East to bring home the title, and adidas is kicking off the year by dropping a very hometown look of his newest signature trainers.
The adidas RGIII Energy Boost "We Decide" (also known as the "DMV" colorway) comes in the hometown Redskins colors, with a mainly burgundy upper complimented by orange hits on the branding and outsole, and is finished off with a white Boost cushioning. The signature trainers feature the revolutionary energy-returning Boost cushioning technology, as well as a SprintWeb upper for maximum comfort, breathability and support. For added support through lateral cuts, adidas added in a midfoot strap to further lock down the foot and avoid slippage within the shoe.
The Redskin's kick off the season this Sunday against the Houston Texans, so RGIII will have to go back to his old self to avoid the rush from JJ Watt, and rookie Jadeveon Clowney. Grab your pair of the RGIII Energy Boost "We Decide" by heading over to adidas.
