Nike's been hard at work creating the latest signature shoes for Kevin Durant and LeBron James, but we haven't heard much in regards to a new Kobe shoe. Chances are it's mainly due to Kobe missing majority of last year, and not having an opportunity to lace up the Kobe 9 during an NBA game. However, Nike had a lot planned for the Kobe 9 this summer, and today the latest installment is now available for you to get your hands on.

The Nike Kobe 9 EM "Bright Mango" is one of the most blazing colorways we've seen this summer, and probably should of came out in late May or early June due to it's vibe, but that's for another day. The shoes feature a full mango upper, with printed leaf and wildlife graphics throughout that's complimented by a medium mint outsole, which was interesting choice but worked out well. The Kobe 9 EM is built for the prototypical guard as the shoe offers the lightweight and highly ventilated feel players are looking for. As usual, Nike used Lunarlon foam and Flywire cables to bolster up the cushioning and support, but if your the player who needs a little more then the average support you may want to consider the Kobe 9 Mid.

Grab the Kobe 9 EM "Bright Mango" from the Nike Store, Champs Sports, and other major retail locations.
