Calling all high flyers. The latest iteration of Jordan Brand's rim-rocking shoe, the Super.Fly 3, is ready to take flight

With Blake Griffin as its muse, the Super.Fly 3 was created by a team of designers looking to make the NBA superstar jump even higher, with more explosiveness (if that's even possible). To accomplish this, the team inserted an evolved FlightPlate into the shoe. With the addition of a tendril, the FlightPlate makes for a smoother heel-to-toe transition, while amplifying energy return from the Nike Zoom unit in the forefront.

“For the Jordan Super.Fly 3, I really wanted a shoe that allowed me to gain an explosive edge on court – with speed and my lift,” said Griffin, who will wear the shoe in the upcoming season. “I really like that Flight Plate not only makes me feel more powerful throughout the game, but also gives me confidence when I’m taking flight.”

For the upper, Jordan Brand looked towards a sonic boom for inspiration for its vibrant pattern. Synthetic overlays add additional structure on the toe and heel, as well as lightweight textile quarter panels to create a strong and durable exterior.

For its midsole, the Super.Fly 3 drew inspiration from the upcoming Air Jordan XX9's so that it responds reliably on multiple playing surfaces.

The Jordan Super.Fly 3 will be available online and in store in two colorways beginning October 1.
