Last month, New York-based label Public School released a super exclusive Air Jordan 1, fresh from winning the prestigious CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year award. The sneakers were limited to 50 pairs and given to friends and family only. If you weren't one of the lucky 50 to get blessed with a pair, you'll get another shot at a Public School x Air Jordan 1 that will actually release to the masses.
The Public School x Air Jordan 1 "23NY" features black leather with suede tonal paneling to complete its monochromatic upper. Unlike the first iteration, this pair is branded with a Jumpan and "23NY" on its woven tongue label instead of "Nike Air" and "PSNY." Other noticeable differences include a black outsole as opposed to translucent detailing and "23" and "NY" branded at the heel of the left and right shoes, respectively, instead of "PS" and "NY."
No word yet on an official release, but the sneakers are expected to release at the Flight 23 Footaction store in New York.
