The Cleveland Indians' post-All Star break hot streak continued last night with a 8-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. Cleveland was powered largely by Carlos Santana, who went 4-5 from the plate and had his 15th homer of the season, along with two RBIs to break out of a nasty slump. Pitcher Danny Salazar was also a factor in the Indians' W, going five innings and allowing just one run, while Nick Swisher went 2-3 and David Murphy added two RBIs. The loss brings Minnesota to 1-4 in since the All-Star Break, while Cleveland improves to 4-2.
Around the league, Kansas City's Mike Moustakas had a big night with two home run and three RBIs in the Royals' 7-1 win over the White Sox.
