Oklahoma City Thunder star forward and reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant took to Instagram to co-sign a Nike KD 7 custom recently commissioned by a loyal fan.
Dubbed the "Gold Medal" KD 7s, these customs were the work of Jo.Square and made for Police_Nupe of Sin City Socks. Working off the recently released "Independence Day" model, the shoes get treated with a gold painted upper making for an appropriate Olympic themed sneaker. A die-hard Durant fan, KD went out of his way to show his appreciation for Nupe's support and his latest acquisition. Getting a shout out from your favorite player, that's not a bad way to cap off a holiday weekend.
