The first quarter of the NFL's fiscal year is over and surprise, surprise the league's highest selling jersey is non other than Johnny Manziel's.

For a franchise struggling to find success like Cleveland has, this is monumental news. ESPN reports that Manziel's number one ranking atop the list is the highest a Cleveland Browns player has ever come in since the league started keeping track of individual jersey sales in 2001. Manziel's instant popularity amongst fans has transformed the Browns into the league's third most popular team form a merchandise standpoint.

Here's where Browns fans should stop reading. The last Cleveland Browns player to appear towards the top of the NFL's jersey list was... Brady Quinn, who went into the 2007 season with the league's second most popular jersey behind LaDanian Tomlinson. Let's hope this one turns out better for Cleveland's sake.
