Last year, following the release of the "White/Cement" Air Jordan III '88, there were rumors that the "Black/Cement" colorway would also release later that year with O.G. "Nike Air" treatment. There were even plenty of preview pairs that eventually surfaced through websites and social media. The rumor was quickly put to bed once Nice Kicks confirmed with sources at Jordan Brand that the sneaker would not be releasing.

While there has been absolutely no more chatter about the possibility of a release following Nice Kicks' report late last year, a recent photo that just surfaced on the 'net might change all that.

Carlos Prieto, the founder and owner of Miami-based boutique SoleFly, posted a photo on his Instagram today of a "Black/Cement" III with "Nike Air" branding, along with the caption "Unreleased Jordan 3." As you might be aware, SoleFly has a strong track record with Jordan Brand and the two have even collaborated on a Spizike and recently, an Air Jordan III. Considering this, you have to believe that this is a legit pair that Prieto just shared.

It's not known if this is an unreleased pair from a past production run that was just scrapped or a sample for a future pair, but it looks like chatter of a possible "Black/Cement" III '88 could be starting up once again.
