German retailer Afew celebrates five years in the game by teaming up with KangaROOS. Using the Coil R1 model, the Afew x KangaROOS collab takes inspiration from an unlikely source that's probably in everyone's kitchen—peanut butter. Based on a teaser shared by Afew, the KangaROOS runner appears to be equipped with a brown leather upper, a contrasting white midsole, and what looks like a gum outsole.
The Afew x KangaROOS Coil R1 "Peanut Butter" is slated to drop this Friday, August 1, at a special in-store launch event. With just days until the release, expect a full reveal very soon. Until then, grab a tall glass of milk and enjoy the preview shot.
