Today adidas Basketball officially unveiled its integration of the Boost technology into the Crazylight sneakers and the D Rose 5. Sole Collector was there to give real time updates of the event surrounding the unveiling, while Derrick Rose was on hand to talk about the development and execution of the shoe.

Advanced Footwear Category Designer Robbie Fuller also sat in the hot seat to talk about the program. "There's a lot of momentum and newness with the brand," he said, reminding us that the Crazylight is only 3 years old, and the Boost technology is brand new. He also let it be known that Kanye West recently lent some creative ideas over a full day session. Looks like Kanye is already earning his stripes over at adidas.

Fuller wasn't the only one to mention Kanye at the event. Rose himself admitted that he's not into fashion as much as he could be. "I'm not Kanye with it," he said. Which means "Kanye" is now a rapper and an adjective.
