Kanye West's blog, Kanye Universe City, hasn't been around for awhile, but his fans still remember when Kanye was writing about his ideas, interests, and the things that happened in his life. One of those moments was when Kanye shared an email that Tinker Hatfield sent him in 2008.
The post, which was put up on June 11, 2008, was titled "THE ULTIMATE COMPLIMENT!" and showed Tinker's admiration for Kanye as a musician and designer. Tinker even goes on to say that he's worked with musicians in the past, but no one combined their talent for music and design like Kanye.
Maybe this is why Kanye was so bitter with Mark Parker at the end of his Nike tenure.
