When you think of "support shoes", the first image that generally comes to mind is those plain black or white nurse shoes complete with velcro straps and a clunky outsole. Mizuno wanted to combine fashion, with functionality and reinvent support, shoes so they developed the Wave Paradox.

At just 10.6 oz, the Wave Paradox is the lightest, sleekest support running shoe available, and provides the modern aesthetics that previous support shoes failed to do. Mizuno focused on the sidewall of the Wave Paradox to build a supportive chassis that provides maximum stability without added weight. The U4ic midsole is 30% lighter then previous foam technologies from Mizuno but still offers the same level of cushioning, as well as optimal shock absorption. The Wave Paradox also features an unexpected design as it looks like a modern running shoe and offers a perfect level of fashion and functionality.

The Wave Paradox is currently available at Mizuno.
