The Jordan Brand has always been synonymous with basketball, and rightfully so. However, the team at Jumpman has always looked to expand into other areas by outfitting athletes of other sports with their iconic footwear. The Jordan Brand will always be a basketball brand at heart, but with such athletes as Derek Jeter, CC Sabathia, Dez Bryant, Earl Thomas, Denny Hamlin, and Andre Brown under their roster, it's clear the Jumpman can dabble in any sport.
The first female member of Team Jordan, April Holmes, is an inspirational world class athlete and one of the greatest sprinters in Paralympic history. Throughout the years Jordan hooked up Holmes with several exclusive track spikes that she wore throughout her year competing. With Jordan Brand by her side, Holmes set the current 100m and 400m sprint world record for athletes with single-leg disabilities and won multiple gold medals. Holmes is currently the sprinter of Team Jordan officially listed on their website, but there are some honorary members including Mandy White, who's been rocking custom Jordan spikes on the track during her time at Oregon and as a professional.
Holmes recently took to twitter to show off one of her custom spikes from Jordan, so we took a look back at all of Jordan Brand track spikes through the years, and hopefully theres more to come in the near future.
