The Nike Air Trainer line has been synonymous with Bo Jackson, but it looks like the Swoosh is channeling another legendary running back for its next offering. Take a look at this preview of the Nike Air Trainer II that's inspired by the great Barry Sanders.
The color palette of orange, black, and grey is a nod to Sanders' college football days as an Oklahoma State Cowboy. Sanders' signature #21 is also embroidered on the back heel of the sneaker. In true Air Trainer form, there's a healthy dose of Nike's vintage Safari print along the toe box and heel.
An official drop date has not yet been announced, but considering the popularity of this retro Nike sneaker, a lot of 'heads are sure to have this pair on their radar.
