Earlier this month, Nike released two player editions of the Nike Zoom HyperRev for Cleveland Cavaliers' point guard Kyrie Irving. For our Kicks of the Day, we're taking a look at the "Sonic Yellow" version.
Kyrie Irving has been the main man behind the Nike Zoom HyperRev. And with a color scheme as bright as his future and his logo gracing the ankle strap, Nike makes it clear that Kyrie is one of the main faces of its basketball program. The release of the HyperRev PEs marks the second time that Nike has made Irving's shoe available to the public - the first being the Hyperdunk 2013 which saw a limited release at House of Hoops locations last year. Seeing a broader release this time around, "Uncle Drew" fans can now proudly wear the same sneakers he rocked during the season. For those of us that didn't get a chance to scoop on release day, Nike still has close to a full size run available.
