Heads will have their eyes on Gio Gonzalez's feet tomorrow as the Washington Nationals' pitcher is set to take the mound in a special pair of Air Jordans to commemorate Mother's Day.
Jordan Brand laced the Nationals' ace with Air Jordan XIIs in a "Black/Pink/Silver" color story for the Nats' late afternoon game against the Oakland Athletics. Gonzalez, along with the Kansas City Royals' Jeremy Guthrie and New York Yankees' C.C. Sabathia, is amongst one of Major League Baseball's biggest sneakerheads with a reputation for sharing some of his latest sneaker pickups on Instagram.
