This past week, Nike held its Football Innovation Summit in Madrid, Spain to unveil its latest soccer boot, the Mercurial Superfly.
While this may have been exciting news for the global soccer community, your average sneakerhead can't do much with a set of cleats. Leave it to Mark Parker, CEO and President of Nike, to give heads something to clamor over as he was spotted wearing a pair of unreleased Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTMs at the event. Parker rocked an understated "Black/White" colorway which would be a welcome addition to anyone's sneaker rotation and collection. Word of a release wasn't mentioned, but heads will be looking forward to hearing more news about these street friendly Mercurial Superflys.
