This year marks the 118th running of the historic Boston Marathon, and more then ever, eyes will be drawn to it due to the tragic events that transpired last year. Emotions are sure to be running high as the city of Boston will show it's true spirit and resilience as nearly 30,000 people will run this year.
Local Boston director, JJ Miller, put together a short video that truly embodies the spirit of the race and how this year's running is so vitaly important to not only the people of Boston, but the United States as a whole.
“The marathon has always been something that brings the entire city together, whether you’re a runner or a spectator,” Miller told BDCwire.com. “We felt that by creating this video we could deter the negative things that surround last year’s marathon and could encourage people to rally around this one memorable event and bring this city together again.”
