The wait is over.

After months of speculation and hype, the Nike Magista is finally here. Nike unveiled the revolutionary football (soccer to us folk) boot today, which after many positive testimonials, lives up to the hype  with unprecedented fit, feel, and control.

Nike's research and development team worked with some of the world's best attack playmakers including Barcelona’s Andrés Iniesta and German forward Mario Gotze, the Nike Magista was designed to change the way football boots look and perform. As expected, the Magista features a Flyknit upper, proving players with a sock-like feel and gives the players more control and support. Also included in the Magista is some new tech from Nike in the form of a mid-cut Dynamic Fit Collar, which provides a more locked-down fit and increased awareness of the interaction between foot and ball.

Phil McCartney, VP of Sport Performance Footwear at Nike said, “With Magista, we’ve designed a shoe that feels like an extension of the player’s body. This isn’t a boot that just goes on your foot, it’s a boot that works with your foot. By eliminating distractions, players are free to unlock their potential and creativity.”
