Kevin Durant's reign in Oklahoma City often leads to many people forgetting about his year in the league as a member of the Seattle Supersonics. Durant finished that year averaging 20.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists making him the 2007-08 Rookie of the Year, despite the Sonics finishing with brutal 20-62 record. His seamless leap from college to the pros and uncanny scoring talent has made launched Durant's signature shoe line with Nike, made him a perennial All-Star and is currently the likely favorite to win the 2013-2014 MVP Award.
Today, we get a look at what could of been a daily sneaker in the rotation for Durant if the Sonics had never moved to Oklahoma City. The Nike KD 6 Elite "Turbo Green" features a bold green upper, red Nike swoosh and is accented with orange, pink and a secondary shade of green throughout the sneaker. The Elite version of the KD 6 features premium materials including Flywire, and a full-length Air Max midsole/outsole combination, which will jack up the price tag from the usual KD 6 model.
No release date has been confirmed as of yet but stay tuned to Sneaker Report for the latest updates and pricing on these KD's.
