After signing a deal with Nike just less than two weeks ago, it didn't take long for Johnny Manziel to reap the benefits of joining the Swoosh. Johnny Football himself took to Instagram to stunt in the very rare Air Jordan V "Oregon."
These Vs were different from the rest, though: They had "Johnny Football" and the Texas A&M logo stitched on the inside of the tongue. For those not in the know, Manziel was committed to play at Oregon for Chip Kelly before bolting to Texas A&M.
He joins a small list of people including Tinker Hatfield and Mark Wahlberg that have already been seen rocking the "Oregon" Vs. While the February release date never came to fruition, seeing all these on-feet shots doesn't help at all and only adds more salt the wound. We're waiting patiently, Jordan Brand.
