After making waves with his All-Star pentathlon, Damian Lillard is stirring things up in the sneaker world. Comcast Sportsnet is reporting that last year's NBA Rookie of the Year is poised to opt out of his contract with adidas. With the notion of Lillard becoming a sneaker free agent after this season in the air, intense bidding wars are sure to ensue. With Nike being adidas' main rival in the industry, the Beaverton, Ore.-based brand could be a possible landing spot for the young star. Though his next shoe destination has yet to be confirmed, somebody is definitely about to pay Lillard handsomely to rock some new sneakers next season.
