Last Weekend's All-Star Sneaker Summit in New Orleans brought plenty of stars and sneakerheads together. Sneaker Watch was in the building to catch a classic interview between Bun B and Diamond Supply creator and designer Nicky Diamonds. With the Trill OG playing host yet again, Nicky spoke about his coveted collabs and future endeavours with Nike.

Amongst the topics was the inspiration behind the "Tiffany" sneaker.

""I bought a Tiffany necklace for my girl back in the day and it came in the box that was tiffany colored," said Diamond who continued to break down the rest of the shoes muses. "When I had the opportunity to do it, I wanted to make a tiffany colorway. I wanted to make it luxury so I went ahead and added the croc. The silver is there because the necklace was silver with diamonds on it so that's basically where it came from."

While the sneaker world had to wait 10 years for the theme to come back, by way of the SB Dunk High, Diamond was stoked to be able to do it again. "Originally, I wanted the high and they(Nike) wanted the low. It took 10 years. Nike works slow, that's how they do it. It's here now and now I have both so I'm Happy."

In the midst of sending special thanks to Nike for creating a custom baby pair of "Tiffany" lows for his daughter, Diamond noted that there's a lot more to come. "I can't believe they went out of their way to make a one-of-one pair for my daughter. Shout out to Nike, we have a lot of new projects in the works for this year, next year, and the year after."

The two went on to chop it up about All-Star Weekend along with the Valentine's Day release of the Ibn Jasper collab. Check out the entire interview above to hear what both had to say.
