Mexican Skier Shows Off Mariachi-Themed Olympic Suit

Mexican Alpine skier Prince Hubertus von Hohenlohe has already competed in five previous Olympics with no medals to show for it, however it looks like he wants his sixth to be the most memorable one regardless of whether he reaches the podium or not.

For the upcoming Sochi Olympics, 54-year-old von Hohenlohe had decided to compete in a mariachi-inspired race suit that “celebrates Mexican culture.”

The suit, which is manufactured by Italian sportswear brand Kappa, features a head-to-toe mariachi design complete with “MEX” on the left side of the pants, as well as an Olympic ring patch on the right arm of the. Also include in von Hohenlohe’s Olympic outfit is a mariachi-themed jacket and suspender pants.
