Brooklyn fans: adidas has unveiled a new alternate home jersey for your beloved Nets. However, if you’re not keen on the NBA’s short-sleeve uniforms, you’re not going to like these.

The new uniforms are designed for the Brooklyn Blue Nights series at Barclays Center, which consists of five regular season games in which the Nets will wear blue instead of the team’s traditional black digs as a tribute to the borough of Brooklyn (Brooklyn Dodgers anyone?).

“Blue is one of the official colors of Brooklyn, so we are proud to connect the Nets with the borough’s storied tradition,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center. “We are honored to pay homage to our home borough.”

The short-sleeve jersey features a grey base color with blue piping and trim, as well as a signature blue Brooklyn wordmark across the chest. The Nets will debut the new-look jerseys when they host the Boston Celtics for the first of five Brooklyn Blue Nights games on Wednesday, March 21.
