What would you do if you were given $1,000 to spend in Denver, but only a handful of hours to spend it in? Where would you go? What would you buy? Even better, how dope would it be if the Nuggets' Nate Robinson was there to spend it with you?

Well, that’s exactly the royal treatment Complex got in the first episode of our new series, Driven. The point guard who’s always on point was kind enough to show us his favorite things to do in the Mile High City. But Nate didn’t take us to see his team’s home court at the Pepsi Center, or to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, or any other super famous Denver spots. So, where did Nate take us? Where any true sneakerhead would want to go when he’s got a grand burning a hole in his pocket—to look at kicks.

That’s right, Nate’s top two choices for must-visit places in the Mile High City are sneaker boutiques Family Affair and Division West. He likes frequenting those spots to shop for sneaks, grab a haircut, and most importantly, quench his sock fetish. “My shoe game is crazy,” he says, “but my sock game is even more crazy.”

Of course, even a sneakerhead has gotta eat sometime, so Nate also kindly took us to his favorite Italian joint and low-key cafe. All in all, it made for an interesting afternoon, giving us the chance to see Denver in a way no one else could present it.
