Created by two Swedish industrial design students, the Hovding (invisible helmet) is truly a game-changer in the urban cycling market. A departure from traditional design, it is an air bag that uses a helium gas cylinder to inflate when its sensors detect a sudden jolt caused by impact. Best of all, this isn’t just a theory. The concept has been proven and tested thoroughly. The helmets are CE labeled, meaning they comply with EU safety standards.
