In showing some love to the Big Apple yet again, the folks over at FILA have created this aptly titled “NYC Pack”. Comprised of both the FILA ’96 and Original Fitness models, both pairs of kicks don matching New York Knicks-inspired color schemes that would definitely be good look on the hardwood under the lights of Madison Square Garden. Fully equipped with crisp white bases, both shoes also sport touches of orange and blue throughout their signature builds. While this pack is expected to arrive at select FILA retailers on November 14th, word on the sneaker streets is that there will also be pack dedicated to NYC’s other basketball team in Brooklyn dropping the same day. Seeing as how the FILA Spaghetti wasn’t included in this particular offering, we can only assume that they will be a part of the Nets-inspired grouping. With the City of New York having proved that it is indeed big enough for two marquee basketball teams, both squads will be squaring off against each other in nine more days. Even though this battle will take place on a retail level, it will surely be just as intense as the on-court wars the two teams have waged.
