2014 is shaping up to be another epic year for the folks over at Jordan Brand. With quite a few high profile retros already on tap to release in the new year, it looks like we can add both the “Maroon” and “Sport Blue” Air Jordan VI to the list.

Seeing as how both of the previously mentioned colorways originally released back in 1991, this will be the first time in 23 years that either shoe has seen the retail light of day. From what we can see, they both appear to stay rather true to their OG forms aside from the infamous icy insoles that have come to be expected with any retro Jordan offering.

The only thing left to be seen is whether or not Jordan Brand will really take these retros to the next level by outfitting them with the classic Nike Air heel logos. As enticing as that sounds, it may not be as farfetched as you think. Hell, we saw the Nike Air logos make a comeback on both the Air Jordan I and Air Jordan III silhouettes this year so why not keep it going in 2014.
