Having already shared a quick look at one of Nike's upcoming NASA-inspired Air Force 1 Hi models, it looks like our assumption was right. There will indeed be another shoe incorporated in this new concept. While the other shoe is a second pair of the AF1 Hi, Nike is pulling out all the stops when it comes to creating their Nike Air Force “Space Pack”. With one pair utilizing the slimmer Downtown build and the other opting for the Hyperfuse approach, both kicks are fully equipped with crisp white space-shuttle like uppers. In further preparing these kicks for launch into the sneaker world, Nike has added their very own special patches to each model. Since the intergalactic-inspired release usually arrive during All-Star weekend, we can’t help but wonder if there is some sort of deeper connection than what meets the eye. In any event, the creative minds over at Nike have yet again created what will surely be another notch on their retail belt. Although we still have no definite word on when these will be officially hitting US retailers, we can only assume that their launch will be taking place sometime in the not too distant future. Houston, we will have liftoff….soon.
