The Icebug Acceleritas 3 is a minimalist trail running shoe designed to help tame the great outdoors. The shoe has all the makings of a true off-road sneaker, yet in a lightweight package geared towards runners who prefer maximum protection with minimal bulk. The Acceleritas 3 is loaded with a new compression molded EVA midsole unit that is lighter and more flexible than the one on the previous version of the shoe. It also features a new ripstop nylon upper that increase the durability and water protection, all the while allowing the feet to breathe properly.
Since a trail running shoe is only as good as its outsole, Icebug has given the Acceleritas 3 a RB9X outsole, which sets a new standard in providing solid traction regardless of weather conditions. The outsole is laden with a series of strategically placed oversized traction lugs for reliable grip on virtually any type of terrain.
