Dave White x Jordan Melo M9

Round II.

Having already applied his artistic talents to the Air Jordan 1 silhouette back in 2012, it looks like Dave White is ready to try his hand at yet another Jordan Brand creation.  This time around, White has chosen the Jordan Melo M9 as his latest canvas. With quite a few glimpses at this project in circulation already, this latest looks leads us to believe that we may be a lot closer to a possible release. Seeing as how this is the first look at the finished product, it’s not hard to see why the folks over at Jordan Brand have commissioned Dave White to do his thing yet again. In making this a golden affair, White decks the toe box out in gold to which sets the tone for the golden stars that fly throughout the entire build of Carmelos signature shoe. Pushing the design envelope even further, White throws in a touch of white 3M material throughout the shoes upper that comes to life in the pictures below. While time isn’t exactly on its side, could there actually be a chance that these might just release before the year is out? If you look at what JB already has on tap to finish out the year, you would probably say no. But if you’ve learned anything when it comes to the sneaker retail release game, it should certainly be to expect the unexpected.
