The glamorous life isn't usually what we see in the videos -- the cuts to endless supplies of food and drink, attractive people, and star entertainers walking in slow motion isn't all that it's cracked up to be, largely because it's a video, or in D. Rose's case, a commercial. And videos are made to play on our wildest dreams. Luckily, Chicago Bulls star point guard Derrick Rose shows us what that commercial life is all about and then some.
Walking us through "the crib (and) the club," as Rose narrates adidas' "The Making of 'Basketball Is Everything'", we're introduced to some of music and entertainment's biggest stars, namely people like Common, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Ben Baller. We see them all as they celebrate Rose's birthday at a club-hosted birthday party, as Rose drops by a Big Sean video shoot, and then occasionally see the player himself walk around his outdoor pool at home (probably contemplating when he play ball soon).
As we see, it's a lot of sitting around and waiting for the director to yell "cut!", but it's all about D Rose, and it's all about his shoes, the adidas D Rose 4. The D Rose 4 continues to make waves for its bisected design, Crazyquick-inspired performance, and for us actually being able to see Rose play in the shoe himself.
