The Oakland Athletics are on a roll. The team swept the Tampa Bay Rays in three games and looks poised for a great September, and a repeat of the AL West title. "This is what we look forward to, a chance to control our own destiny and get where we want to be, and that's to win the division," third baseman Josh Donaldson said.

The A’s have been handling the ball well on each side of the diamond. On defense, the A’s pitchers have been on their ‘A-game.’ A.J. Griffin had 7 strikeouts, allowing only 1 run on 5 hits. On offense Oakland have been getting big plays from unexpected players, allowing for the dominant victories over the Tampa Bay Rays in dominant fashion.

Griffin has been tearing guys apart on the mound. During the weekend series, he wore the Nike Max Air Gamer iD. The Cleat features Max Air Technology, providing a light weight feel on the shoe without sacrificing maximum cushioning. The cleat can be found on their Nike iD section for $125.

As the A’s continue the march to the postseason against the Texas Rangers. It should be a great series. Stay tuned to sneaker report for more from the MLB
