In case you’ve been wondering what the new Hyperposite Technology in LeBron James’ latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 11, is all about, here’s the low-down:

LeBron’s quick, aggressive, and physical style of plan needs no introduction. However, what LeBron does need is beefed up protection and containment without loosing a step on the hardwood. To make that happen, Nike has fused two of its most iconic basketball technologies—Foamposite and Hyperfuse—and combined them to create the appropriately named Hyperposite.

Because of the unique blend, LeBron has the support and reinforcement needed in key areas (Foamposite), as well as flexibility and a natural range of motion (Hyperfuse). As a result, not only has Nike seemingly created one of the most durable basketball shoes of all time, but also one of the most technical in terms of design.
