Set to launch next month, Brandblack is rolling out five performance shoes, four for the hardwood and one for running and general training. The running model, the Falcon, looks like a run-of-the-mill neutral running shoe, equipped with a lightweight polymer midsole and an thermoplastic frame upper in Grey, White, Black and Red colorways.
The surprising aspect of this shoe is the outsole, which carries a repeat cross hatch pattern which the brand calls "Bio Mapped Design." With so many brands today getting competitive about the performance benefits of their soles, Brandblack is going to have to answer some serious questions from runners looking for a truly innovative shoe.
