The New Balance 4040v2 is here and ready to give you all the speed that you need to attack every fly-ball headed in your direction.

This new baseball cleat is very modern and very responsive. For the first time ever, the NB 4040 silhouette is created with a mid-cut. This shoe’s design aspect was at the request of many athletes such as Andre Ethier of the Los Angeles Dodgers. New Balance’s top-of-the-line running technology in the RevLite is featured in the midsole of this cleat. It runs the full length of the shoe and provides just the right amount of midfoot support. The Cleats upper is a combination of synthetic and performance nubuck with a patent finish at the midfoot. Also, the toe is coated in TPU (Tuftane Thermoplastic Polyurethane) to reinforce against drag. New Balance reduced bulk on the upper more comfortable on the foot by removing top-foot seams. A minimal ankle collar in combination of the light upper makes this a true speed design.

This cleat is available now on the New Balance website for $100. Don’t miss out on this quality baseball cleat.
