Set to hit retailers on October 5th, the Jordan CP3.VII was announced today by Chris Paul and Jordan Brand. The updated sneaker draws from East LA and the '80s, with a major focus on speed and flight.

According to Chris Paul, "This shoe was made for speed and flight. It’s a great feeling when I’m out there to know I’ve got the technical support to do what I need to do. The designers at Jordan really know my style of play and continue to make products that elevates my quickness on the court."

On the technology side, the CP3.VII switches out the Podulon we have seen in the model over the last few years with Podulite. Additionally, Jordan Brand designer, Justin Taylor, incorporated Flywire into the upper to provide a more locked in design for an adaptive, glove-like fit.

A first for the CP3 line, the new shoe will be making its way to NIKEiD starting on October 21st and will have numerous color and material options as a part of the offering.

For the initial release, look for it to debut in two colorways—Black/White-Flash Lime and Court Purple—on Oct. 5th for $125.
