The votes have been tallied, and the people have spoken: the winner of "The Next Sneaker Design Star" competition, with 45.29% of the vote, is Kyle Hodge. After reporting last week that Kyle trailed the team of Bryan Espiritu and Andy Oliver, we were curious to see if he could pull off the late rally. Sure enough, his design, very much in keeping with the Creative Recreation aesthetic, edged out the Espiritu/Oliver sneaker by just over 300 votes. Kyle has won an apprenticeship with Creative Recreation, where he'll get to see the pros at work, and is sure to gain invaluable knowledge about what makes a killer design.
