The Virrata isn’t the only Saucony running shoe that’s scheduled to get an upgrade next year. Joining it will be another popular model as part of Saucony Natural Series, the Mirage.

The changes to the Mirage 4 are minimal compared to the current version, though, Saucony has given the shoe a fresh new upper design that it hopes will, not only look better, but will breathe better as well.

Much like rest of Saucony’s lineup for 2014, the Mirage 4 will be making the switch from ProGrid technology to the more substantial PowerGrid for more support underfoot, as well as improved shock retention. Everything else under the hood—like the shoe's EVA+ midsole and 4mm offset—remains virtually untouched.

Look for the Mirage 4 to hit retailers in February 2014.
