Jenny Simpson

Yesterday, Jenny Simpson took the Silver in the women’s 1500m race at the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow. With this win, Simpson has become the most decorated American woman in the 1500m event at the World Championships. I'm absolutely thrilled to bring another medal home to all of the people that have supported me throughout my career. The field today was as strong as any I've been a part of and I'm proud to have risen to the top. It will take time for the true significance of this effort to really hit me,” says Jenny Simpson.

This USA athlete is also a part of Team New Balance. She signed a multi-year endorsement contract upon her graduation from the University of Colorado in 2009. Simpson owns the American record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 9:12.50.  Jenny has also earned spots on two U.S. Olympic Teams, four world teams and is a seven-time All-American and 12-time All-Big 12 honoree. Jenny won four NCAA titles and two national steeplechase titles. In the 1500m event, Simpson wore the New Balance MD800v3 spikes. The 800v3 will release November 2013 at $120.
