Michael Vick doesn’t quite have the same flair to his game as he used to back in the day, but Nike has stuck by him since his return to football after legal troubles. Now, nearly a decade since Vick’s last Swoosh-branded signature shoe, it looks like Nike might be rolling out another exclusive model for the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback—well sort of.

Yesterday via Instagram, Vick shared an image of what looks to be a part of a shoe branding his number “7” atop a carbon fiber-type material. There’s absolutely no word yet from either party whether the shoe is actually a signature model, or a PE, or even whether it's a cleat or a trainer. But either way, according to Vick, “It’s almost time” for a new shoe.

Stay tuned for updates on Vick and his potential shoe.
