In its continuing efforts to help soccer players improve their performance on the pitch, adidas today unveils Snapshot, the “world’s first” soccer tracking smartphone app.

Designed as type of training supplement, the Snapshot app tracks, records, and analyzes performance data like speed, angle, trajectory, and flight time of each and every shot by filming the session.

The app provides real-time, as well as slow-motion video playback and effects, that can be used to break down a player’s technique, and help him improve accordingly. The data can then be uploaded to social medial platforms and shared with the world. Players can also keep a record of their kicks in the app’s Library section to see how they stack up against some of the best in the world, including Gareth Bale.

The Snapshot app is available for download at the App Store.
