For Fall 2013, Vans California is slated to deliver a new take on its Mesa Moc silhouette. Presented is the Mesa 79, which pulls inspiration from World War II desert boots. The mid-cut model has been done up in leather and waxed canvas to mimic that of WWII army packs. Initially offered up in brown and green as well as brown and red, tonal laces accompany each edition, which will be arriving during the month of July through select Vans outlets. Retail will be $85.
