Last year Jordan Brand previewed pictures of the black and blue Jordan IXs that had sneakerheads going crazy – the outsole was the wrong color. A few pairs were accidentally put into production due to some confusion with the color-coding details and in the end we got something that looks almost identical to the player edition IXs that Penny Hardaway rocked before his signature series took off. The Nike Store announced that they will be releasing the sneakers on May 9th through its online store only at $130. Error or not, these are actually one of the better IXs to surface over the past year. Will you be grabbing a pair?
