Just because someone isn't wearing "heat" doesn't mean they don't have the same love for the game you do. You may not be into Pro-KEDS but they might be, and they might think your Foamposites are corny. The point is, we ALL can be judgmental at times when it comes to sneakers but really, we just make an ass out of ourselves when we assume we know about that other person.

No offense to Mike or Spike but you really wouldn't be reading this if yo didn't have friends that were into sneakers. Sneakers are awesome but if it weren't for the people you share the passion with, all of it would mean nothing.

The past is important, none of us would be into sneakers without it. With that said, the present is pretty fucking awesome when it comes to sneakers. There are dozens of brands to choose from, hundreds of colorways, and we have access to more information and sneaker choices than ever before.

If all you do is complain and you still keep buying sneakers, you're lame. Plain and simple. If you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen and let people that enjoy sneakers do so without your negativity.

The only reason resellers exist is because people keep buying from them. If you really don't want to have to pay resellers, don't buy from them. In fact, do a friend a favor and pick up a pair of kicks for them, so they won't have to buy from a reseller.

Sure, sneakers get you attention sometimes, they even start conversations. But there's no need for someone else to approve the sneakers you put on in the morning (although, your signifcant other's approval might be important to your, um, "well being"). Buy what you like and wear what you like. If you feel like a boss in a pair of Crocs, more power to you, weirdo.

We know the Internet is full of lames, but that doesn't mean you should be one too. You have the choice to be better than the people you complain about or become one, it's up to you to make the sneaker game better. Those screennames you talk shit about are real people behind the computer.

Simple enough, just do it.
