The teaser shots have been killing you (and us) for weeks and finally we have official information from Ronnie Fieg and the team over at Kith on when we can finally expect the East Coast Project kicks. The two GEL Lyte III models represent a Miami Beach and NYC state of mind – with color blocking that caters to both cities iconic sports teams. The Miami pair is made up in a teal and orange colorway synonymous with the Dolphins while the blue and orange joints have a Knicks and Mets feel. The sneakers also include sewn-in memory foam for added comfort and a custom pair of socks – this is a new addition created specifically for the East Coast Project. Just like past Fieg x ASICS collaborations you can expect premium materials and colors that pop even better in person.
Pairs will start to release into the wild for $145 on May 2nd exclusively at the Miami pop-up store in limited numbers. A few pairs will keep hitting the shelves everyday until May 10th. There will also be a release at both Kith NYC stores on May 10th. The “Miami Beach” colorway will be hitting Kith Brooklyn stores and the “New York City” pair will be released in Manhattan. Both colorways will be sold online through Kith at 11 am on May 10th, 2013.
